It is necessary

a regular deck of 36 cards

Instructions

Step 1

Shuffle the deck and give it to one of the spectators with a request to choose any card and put it down or on top of the deck, while in the process of transferring imperceptibly see which card is the bottom one and remember it. Ask the viewer to move the deck several times. Fan the cards so that they are facing you and the back facing the audience. Quickly scan through the cards and find the one you originally memorized. The next after it will be the card chosen by the viewer.

Step 2

Place the desired card on the bottom of the deck and then pass the deck face down to the viewer so that the hidden card is at the bottom. When doing this, notice that the viewer's thumb is above the deck, and all other fingers are below it. Ask the viewer to hold the cards tight and then hit the deck with your index finger from top to bottom. As a result of your manipulations, the viewer will lose all cards, except for the bottom one, which was originally conceived.

Step 3

Take the card you need for focus and any 7 other cards and arrange them in 2 rows face down, noting which one is hidden, but do not show it to the audience. Ask one of the spectators to touch four of the eight offered cards and then, regardless of whether there is one among these cards, the right one, discreetly remove those 4 cards, among which there is no hidden one, into the deck. Next, ask the viewer to touch two more cards and, as in the previous time, remove to the deck those cards, among which there is no hidden one. Do the same with the remaining two cards, removing unnecessary ones into the deck. Thus, only one of the eight cards remains - the intended one. Ask the viewer to name the card that he thought of and, having received an answer from him, show the remaining card.
