Well, what a New Year without beautiful balls, garlands and, of course, snowflakes. But it is doubly beautiful if all these New Year's decorations are made by hand. Yes, all adults and children know how to cut simple flat snowflakes from plain paper, but not everyone knows how to make an origami snowflake.

Step 1
It turns out that making beautiful volumetric snowflakes is no more difficult than ordinary ones, but they look much more attractive and spectacular. Bulky snowflakes can be placed not only on the New Year's beauty tree, windows and entrance doors, they can decorate the entire room by hanging them on colored strings or tinsel around the entire perimeter of the room.
Step 2
Prepare six A4 paper, scissors, glue, stapler, glitter and tinsel. Instead of tinsel, you can use simple multi-colored threads or New Year's rain. It is important to choose the heaviest paper.
Step 3
Cut out equal squares from six sheets of paper. Take one of them and bend it diagonally. Place the resulting triangle in front of you with the base down and, using sharp scissors, cut three oblique lines parallel to each other on the left and right. The slits should be directed from the base of the folded triangle to its apex. In this case, the lines should not reach the center of the triangle.
Step 4
Expand your square. You should have symmetrical, neat, straight cuts in front of you. Roll the middle piece of your cut square into a straight tube. Connect the right and left corners with glue or a stapler.
Step 5
Turn the resulting shape over and in the same way, using a stapler or glue, connect the corners of the next fragment on the other side. Repeat the steps with turning the figure over and connecting the corners of the cut fragments until they end.
Step 6
Do all the steps in the same sequence as above with the remaining five paper squares. As a result, you should have six volumetric rays, which will be the main details of your future snowflake.
Step 7
Connect all the details of the figure. To do this, first staple the ends of the two beams together with a stapler or glue. Then attach to the left and right along the beam. Do these steps by attaching the ends of the rays to each other and, at the same time, forming the middle of the snowflake.
Step 8
Fasten the sides of the parts together. This must be done so that the future snowflake does not crumble.
Apply glue in different places of the snowflake and sprinkle colorful glitter in those places.
Step 9
Thread the tinsel (thread, New Year's rain) through the hole and tie it so that you get a loop.
Hang the snowflake on a tree, on a door, on a chandelier, or anywhere else.
