short biography
On January 28, 1968, the future popular artist was born in the capital's family of technical intelligentsia. Her parents, by virtue of their profession, were often on business trips, which is why the grandmother, who lives in the Urals, was mainly engaged in raising her granddaughter until school time.
Subsequently, the parents assigned their daughter to a metropolitan general educational institution with a specialized focus on learning English. In childhood and adolescence, Olga showed remarkable artistic abilities. She realized her multifaceted talents, doing vocals, choreography, rhythmic gymnastics and amateur performances. And with her future profession, in her own words, Kabo decided at the age of 12, when she made her debut on the stage of the Theater of a Young Muscovite, located on the Lenin Hills.
The girl had already attended the senior classes of secondary school with a literary and theatrical bias, which, after receiving a certificate of maturity, contributed to her admission to VGIK (on the course of S. Bondarchuk and I. Skobtseva). But this university was not the only one for a girl thirsty for knowledge. Subsequently, she also received diplomas from the History Department of Moscow State University and the Higher Directing Courses.
As a theater actress Olga Kabo appeared in the course of her professional career on the stages of the Theater of Modern Opera, the Theater. Mossovet and the Moscow Independent Theater. And her most stellar role can be called the main female character in the play "The Master and Margarita", based on the novel of the same name by Bulgakov.
Personal life
The artist's bright professional career is in many ways similar to her romantic aspect of life. Olga Kabo received her first experience of a serious relationship long before her first official marriage, when she met the future businessman Eduard Vasilishin for 4 years.
Still, she put on an engagement ring at the age of 29. In the marriage of Olga and Eduard, a daughter, Tatyana, was born, who today is going to become a ballerina, despite her first successful experience as a film actress in the screened fairy tale "Thumbelina". But the happy parents could not keep their marital union intact, and after 7 years the marriage broke up.
5 years after the divorce, Kabo met the entrepreneur Nikolai Razgulyaev. And then there was the wedding and the birth of a son, Victor, three years later. The late childbirth of the actress became the reason for gossip. Journalists began to ascribe to Olga Kabo a story similar to Evelina Bledans, connected with the birth of a child with Down syndrome. The actress herself did not react to the situation in any way and did not give thematic interviews, which subsequently led to a decrease in journalistic interest.
And at the age of 4, Victor was already independently giving out information about his life to the press. As a result, it became known that the boy was successfully learning English, riding horses and playing computer games.
Interestingly, a stuntman, actress, singer, television presenter, historian and figure skater almost flew into space in the late nineties of the last century. Then, only because of the unexpected discovery of the first pregnancy, she refused to implement a flight to the Mir station in the company of the popular actor V. Steklov.
Olga Kabo today
The financial viability of an artist today is largely determined by his creative implementation. Therefore, in this context, it is logical to analyze the latest creative projects of Olga Kabo.
In 2016, she took part in the filming of the short film "The Potapov Problem", and the next year she devoted entirely to theatrical projects. The production "I was looking for you …" is based on Tsvetaeva's dialogue with her daughter. In it, Olga Kabo (the character of Ariadna Efron) in a duet with Nina Shatskaya (the role of a famous poetess) introduced the audience to the family drama of Marina Tsvetaeva, who sent her children to an orphanage so that they could survive in the difficult conditions of post-revolutionary Russia.
The most recent of the actress's officially known film works were her roles in two projects, which premiered in 2018. The drama "Crane in the Sky" is dedicated to the plight of the woman-aviator Asya Solntseva, who was able to leave a bright and heroic page about herself in the country's annals. The plot of the picture is connected with the period 1961-1983, when Soviet design engineers planned to create the world's first supersonic passenger aircraft. While watching a historical film, viewers are immersed in the atmosphere of the realization of the Soviet dream and the life twists and turns of the legendary pilot.
Another cinematic project with the participation of Olga Kabo in 2018 was the melodrama Love and Sachs, which tells about the difficult fate of a harpist from a symphony orchestra and her lover, a talented but unrealized musician. A series of alcoholic scenes and conflict situations lead the protagonist to prison, after which the heroine's bohemian life changes dramatically.
