Winter is not a hindrance to an avid fisherman, and some anglers consider only winter fishing to be real. At this time, the most various fish are caught, and one of them is crucian carp.
It is necessary
- - winter fishing rod
- - bread crumbs
- - bait
Instructions
Step 1
It is worth looking for crucian carp in winter in deep-water places of large lakes with a sandy or clay bottom. Basically, this fish prefers to wait out unfavorable periods for it, burying itself in the sand while the reservoir dries up or lying down for the winter on the bottom. But crucian carp is well caught on the first ice, and on the last, too, if the melting is not very violent. The rapid melting of ice causes cloudy water, the fish stops responding to the bait.
Step 2
The presence of wind and its strength do not have any effect on the biting of crucian carp, but in cloudy weather it bites much better than in sunny weather. This fish prefers stationary baits located directly at the very bottom or lying on it. Anything can be used as bait - worms, bloodworms, colorful rubber balls, hooks wrapped in threads, and even large beads.
Step 3
To draw the attention of the crucian carp to the bait, you should periodically wiggle it, raising and lowering it with smooth movements to a height of no more than half a meter.
Step 4
Crucian carps feed well, but it should only be done at night. Daily feeding scares the fish, and it swims away from the hole. Bloodworms or regular bread crumbs can be used as complementary foods. Just pour some feed into standing water and wait.
Step 5
Since the baited hook lies or almost lies at the bottom, you may not notice the bite if you are not very careful. Simply moving the float from one edge of the hole to the other may already mean that the fish has pecked.
Step 6
Do not strike sharply. Crucian carp is an easy fish to fish. Just pick up the line and pull it out of the water.
Step 7
Place the poured carp in a special cage on the ice. The faster
the fish freeze, the longer it stays fresh. After thawing the house, the fish may even come to life, so do not be afraid of suddenly jumping carp. The fresher the fish, the tastier it is.
