Instructions

Step 1

Begin your drawing by constructing auxiliary geometric shapes. Draw a cone with the base up. Divide the circle into six approximately equal sections, from the center of each draw diverging lines of the same length. Also connect the points on the circle to the top of the cone with line segments.

Step 2

Draw each of the six petals. They have the shape of an ellipse, its middle part is located on a circle, which is the base of the auxiliary cone. In the lower part, the petals are thinned and do not connect to each other, so draw the dense "legs" of each of them with the help of concave lines. In some species, they are layered on top of each other. The lily has no sepals, so you can draw a stem right after the flower.

Step 3

Draw six long stamens, they also end in oblong oval-like anthers, they are attached to the stem by the middle part. On each of the anthers, draw a longitudinal strip, round its outlines a little so that it looks three-dimensional. The pistil of the lily is also quite large and thin, there is a small seal only in its lower part. It ends with a stigma consisting of three parts, located at an angle of approximately 45 degrees in relation to the line of direction of the pistil. On each of its faces, select an area in the form of an ellipse.

Step 4

Complete the drawing with details. Draw longitudinal grooves in the center of each petal, mark a few specks on the inside. To make the flower look natural, wrap the petals outward, round the bottom of the cone.

Step 5

Draw large oval-like leaves on the stem, sharpening their outer tips. Consider the peculiarity of their growth, they are located in a spiral. At the very top and near the flower, leaves do not grow.

Step 6

Erase construction lines with an eraser.
