Snowdrop is a very simple flower and at the same time delicate and fragile. It is very simple to draw it, using a minimum of lines - and at the same time conveying the light mood of spring nature.
It is necessary
- - A4 paper,
- - a simple pencil,
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
The snowdrop flower consists of six petals: three outer and three inner. First, you need to sketch the general outline of the flower - it is made up of the outer petals of a spoon-shaped (curved) shape, located symmetrically around the core. It is quite simple to check the symmetry: the distance between the tips of the petals should be the same.
Step 2
Then we draw the inner petals: each of them is located between the large outer petals. Together, the three white-green inner petals form a cup. Having outlined the contour of the cup, you need to clarify the wavy outlines of each petal and draw a small core inside.
Step 3
Note that the inflorescence is attached to the stem by the calyx-bracts. It has a very simple shape that resembles a green cap. When drawing it, you need to ensure that the bracts fit snugly against the flower - there should be no distance between them. When drawing the stem of a snowdrop, note that it is always slightly inclined downward under the weight of the flower. Small bracts are located at a distance of two large petals from the cap-bracts. Draw the leaves thin - this gives the drawing a lively and natural look.
Step 4
Use light shading to mark the shadows and bends of the petals. A more contrasting shading is a green tint of the inner petals, stem and bracts. The background should not be too bright. It is better to give it with light lines and strokes - for example, the sky and clouds - so that the main focus is on the flower.
