Step 1
Your road lies to the Farragout West metro station. From it, head forward along the embankment. Having reached the place where the wrecked trucks are located at the ruins on the left, you pass behind them. You will see a small camp that is captured by a super mutant master resting in a tent. In addition to him, there is a prisoner in the tent, for the release of which you will receive plus 1 to karma. Search the truck tent if you want to get hold of ammunition and medical supplies.
Step 2
When you reach the end of the embankment, turn onto the left street. On your right hand you will see the house where Dukov lives. You can take an additional quest in it if you talk to the girl Cherry. In order to convince her to follow you, you must have a sufficient level of "Speech" skill.
Step 3
There is only one road to the goal, so you simply cannot get lost, even if you want to. On the way, you will come across a couple of checkpoints, one of which is occupied by raiders, and the other by super mutants.
Step 4
Once at the site of Rivet City, use the intercom, fixed on the pole. After a short conversation, a ladder will come out, passing along which you will find yourself right at the entrance to the city. Guard Harkness will stop you at the entrance. Talk to him and find out where Dr. Lee's laboratory is located. This is where you need to get. You can also ask the guard about the location of the rest of the locations.
Step 5
There is a door to your left - go through it. After proving to be in the room, again you pass through the left door. Follow the corridor without turning off to the second intersection. Turn right here. Then go again to the second intersection, then turn left. Go straight all the way, go through the door - you will find yourself in the laboratory of Dr. Lee.
Step 6
Talk to her to find out where your father went and what kind of project this is - "Purity". Here is also Dr. Zipper, from whom you can take an additional task. It consists in finding the missing android. This quest is completed in two ways - you decide for yourself which one to choose. In addition, in the laboratory you can find the caretaker of the Washington Museum, who will ask you to get the US Declaration of Independence for him.
