The strategy "Heroes of Might and Magic" has rightfully won one of the leading positions in the gaming world. The multiplayer format supported by Heroes allows you to play campaigns not only alone, but also with the participation of two or more players. In this case, users' computers can be located both in the same room and hundreds of kilometers from each other.
Instructions
Step 1
Start the game "Heroes of Might and Magic". Select the New Game item in the main menu of the program, and in the next - MultiPlayer. This mode will create a server on the current computer to start multiplayer games. At the bottom of the window provided, enter the name that your character will have in the game.
Step 2
To establish a connection between computers located in the local network, press the button to call the "Hot Sit" mode. In the window that opens, in the first line of the list, the name of your character will be displayed. Enter in the next blank line the name of the character of the second player, with whom you will play together. Press the checkmark button to confirm the entered data. The multiplayer session will be created and the map and scenario selection window will automatically appear.
Step 3
If the computers of two players are connected only via the Internet, select the TCP / IP communication mode in the MultiPlayer window by clicking the corresponding button. A window will appear for specifying the parameters of a new connection. Click on the HOST button to create a multiplayer session. Enter the session name and password in the appropriate fields. To save the specified game parameters, click the checkmark button. After that, the program will automatically open the stage for selecting a map and a game scenario.
Step 4
Choose the card you need, heroes and the degree of difficulty of the desired scenario. After that, start the multiplayer strategy by pressing the BEGIN button.
Step 5
The second player should join the game scenario you created. For a local connection, it is enough to select the name of the second character in MultiPlayer mode. When playing via the internet, in the TCP / IP window, you must press the button to search for the first player's server computer by its IP address and the set session password. Based on the specified data, the game application will independently perform a search, and in the list of sessions it will display all found scenarios started from the first computer. After choosing the one you need, the second player will connect to the multiplayer scenario you created.
