Aeronautics festivals attract the attention of hundreds of people. And not only the participants, but also the audience. Even if you do not dare to take to the air in a balloon, you will surely get no less pleasure from contemplating this beauty from the ground. You can record your impressions in the picture.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the sheet of paper horizontally. Determine how much free space there will be between the edges of the paper and the image. Leave a little more "air" on the right than on the left, below and above - about the same number of centimeters.
Step 2
Draw a vertical axis through the center of the sheet. Divide it into 11 equal parts. Take the length of one such part as a unit of measurement. Draw a square balloon basket of this size. Then on the vertical axis measure the height of the balloon itself - it is equal to 7.5 units.
Step 3
Drop three units from the top of the ball. At this level, draw a horizontal axis. On it, set aside the width of the ball, equal to 5 units. At the hole above the basket, this value is reduced to 1, 4.
Step 4
Divide the ball's width in half, then back off to the right an additional 0.4 units and draw a vertical line to indicate the boundary between the adjacent segments that make up the dome. The "slices" to the right and left of this line are equal to 1.5 units. At the orifice of the ball, their width decreases to a quarter of a unit. The following segments are equal (as they move away from the center) 1 and 0.5 units. Extend them with smooth lines to the hole, gradually narrowing them.
Step 5
Color the balloon with the lighting in mind. First, fill the yellow part with the main shade - lemon yellow with the addition of a small amount of ocher.
Step 6
The most prominent parts of each element of the ball appear the lightest. On the deeper sides, you need to draw your own shadows. To do this, add blue and light brown to the main color in the palette. On the left half of the ball, paint strokes of this color near the bulging part of each lobe and on the seams. On the right side of the ball, the indentations look lighter, and the center of the convex parts of each segment should be painted with brown-blue.
Step 7
Use the same principle to distribute the color on the blue and red stripes. Make the red part of the ball at the hole darker at the edges and lighted in the middle.
Step 8
Draw the lines of the seams on the ball with a thin blue pencil. Note that they are nearly straight at the top and bottom of the ball, and more curved in the center.
Step 9
Paint the basket with a dark brown color. Leave a strip of white highlight on the left side of it. To the right of it, apply a mixture of brown and black.
