The Japanese crossword puzzle involves the restoration of an encrypted image in a given field. The numbers above and on the side indicate how many cells in a row must be painted in a given row or column. The order in which these numbers are indicated determines the order in which the cells are painted: from bottom to top and from left to right. If several numbers are indicated in a column or row, then a gap of at least one empty cell must be left between the filled cells.
Instructions
Step 1
Start your puzzle by decoding the rows or columns with the highest numbers. Take a look at the last column of this crossword puzzle. The number 4 in the top column indicates that four cells must be closed in it
Step 2
It is not yet possible to determine exactly how they are placed. Possible location at the top or at the bottom of the field. However, the middle three squares go into an enclosed area anyway. Paint over them.
Step 3
Thinking in the same way, paint over the three middle cells on the bottom row of the box. In order not to get confused in the future, cross out the bottom number 1 in the second, third, and fourth columns in the upper column of the crossword puzzle. Cross out the number 1 on the side of the second and fourth lines
Step 4
Now look at the third line. Here you need to close 4 cells in a row, but one cell is already painted over. So, next to it, draw three more cells. Cross out the number 4 on this line and the number 1 in the second, third and fourth columns
Step 5
Take a look at the first column of the crossword puzzle. You will see that the only possible solution is to paint over the top two and one bottom cells. Take this action. Cross out the corresponding numbers in the header columns
