Paper crafts are very useful - for both children and adults, they develop fine motor skills and allow you to think figuratively. You can make almost anything out of an ordinary square sheet of paper, but it's best to start with something simple, like a dog.

Instructions
Step 1
To make an origami dog, take a square piece of paper and fold it diagonally, then unfold it back. Then bend each side so that the top is aligned with the diagonal. You have a diamond shape, with the top sides being longer than the bottom ones.
Step 2
Bend the rhombus in half, so as to connect the upper and lower corners, while the corners bent in the first step should be outside. Grab one of these corners and pull up, place your finger inside the resulting fossa, straighten and straighten, fix. Bend the second corner in the same way. You have got an equilateral rhombus, with "tails" in the middle.
Step 3
Fold the rhombus in a long diagonal, with the tails outward. Difficult moment: bend a part of the rhombus along the same diagonal in the opposite direction, so that the "tails" are divided by about half (they remain inside). You have a figure in the shape of the letter "L" with sharp ends (one of them is longer, and the second with "tails" hidden inside).
Step 4
Take the short half of the letter "L" and in the same way bend part of it in the opposite direction, you will get a zigzag. Notice that the ponytails have turned into ears and stick out over one of the corners of the zigzag.
Step 5
Now you can see that the small part of the zigzag is the muzzle. To make it shorter, bend the end inward (the shape of the dog's muzzle will depend on the shape of this bend), then bend the rest back so that its very end is outside. Fold this tip up twice and fix it on the tip of the muzzle so that it becomes the dog's nose.
Step 6
In the area of the dog's neck, you can see the "wings" that are directed backward. Fold them inward, behind the pieces of paper that serve as the dog's ears, to fix the shape.
Step 7
Limit the length of the paper dog by bending the back inward at a right angle. Then make a tail out of paper for the dog, arching it back in the same way. To crochet the tail, bend it one more time.
Step 8
To make the origami dog more convex, bend its back with your finger, fold the tummy inward between the legs (the legs should become sharp), and make the muzzle more rounded.
