Knitted fabric can be decorated not only with intricate patterns of cleverly intertwined loops, but also with beads and beads. Sewing on them is unreliable, they can come off and get lost. Therefore, it is better to knit the beads into the canvas. This can be done in two ways. Depending on the method chosen, the beads will be placed horizontally or vertically on the canvas.
It is necessary
Yarn, knitting needles, beads or large beads, thin hook, needle
Instructions
Step 1
Vertical arrangement of beads
You will need a thin hook to string the beads onto the loops. Choose beads with a large hole. The yarn folded in two should easily pass through them. In this case, the size of the beads should be equal to the size of the loop.
This method is convenient because the beads can be knitted in both the front and back rows. After a row with beads, there is no need to knit a row without them.
Step 2
We collect an even number of loops. For example, 32. We knit the required number of rows and start knitting beads.
You need to knit like this:
We knit the first loop with the front (or purl);
Pull the second loop through the bead;
We knit the third loop with the front (or purl);
Pull the fourth loop through the bead.
You can change the order in which the beads are knitted. The main thing is that there should be at least one knitted loop between the beads.
It turns out that we put the bead on the loop.
Step 3
It should look like the photo. Then we transfer the loop from the hook to the knitting needle with untied loops.
Step 4
We knit a loop with a front bead (or purl, it all depends on the pattern).
Continue knitting by repeating steps 2-4.
Step 5
Horizontal arrangement of beads
Beads are not put on the loops, but strung on a working thread and placed between the loops. This method is suitable for knitting with purl stitches.
Step 6
We string the beads on the thread from which we will knit. The number of beads must be calculated in advance. The beads are placed between the loops.
Move aside the beads and put on the loops. We knit several rows, we start knitting with beads.
Step 7
Remove the edge loop (first loop), move the bead towards it. The working thread should be before knitting. The bead should be between the loops, we knit the next loop (second loop). Place the bead between the loops and knit the next loop (third loop). We knit like this to the end of the row. The next row should be knitted without beads.
