Step 1
When starting to knit, choose a comfortable pattern that will appeal to you and your man. Once you decide, start knitting. To do this, cast on the needles from 60 to 80 loops. Their number must be a multiple of 3, while the resulting value must be odd. Then knit the canvas with a single elastic band. The height is adjustable based on your desire.
Step 2
Then continue knitting with a triple elastic band (knit three, purl three). So you need to tie two rows, then start adding. To do this, knit from the jumper, which is between the loops, one loop at a time. They are located in front of and after the front wedge. Loop additions must be done in every 6th row. But take into account the thickness of the knitting needles and wool: if the yarn is thick, then the addition should be equal to 4 loops. So you need to knit to the desired length of the shirt front. Then the hinges are closed according to the drawing.
Step 3
Continue single crochet. These will be the strips of the shirt front. But remember that the planks must be stiff enough, so be sure to stiffen the edge of the product. To do this, tie the edge with a "crustacean step". Do not tie the bar itself. In order to be able to tie the "rachis step", you need to use a crochet hook. After that, additionally crochet the edge with a pattern of double crochets and an arch of air loops.

It remains only to sew on the buttons, and your shirt-front will be ready. Now your loved one can wear it bravely in cold weather.

Alternatively, the bib can also be knitted on circular knitting needles. Begin to knit it also from the neck. To do this, distribute the loops over 4 knitting needles. Knit with a single elastic band (but you can also any other - whichever you choose). The length depends on your desire. The main thing is that it reaches the shoulders. If you do more, you get a shirt-front with a lapel. Once you're done, start spreading the knitting over the knitting needles. To do this, keep in mind that there should be more loops on the front and back than on the sides. Continue all knitting like raglan. Close knitting. Moisten the product, let it dry and can be used.
