The main character of the series, Irina, is incredibly lucky in life. Her dream came true, and she met a fairy-tale prince in the guise of Finnish architecture.
Irina made such an irresistible impression on the Finn that he, without hesitation, invited her to become his wife and go with him to Finland. Irina agreed to the proposal, believing that marrying a wealthy foreigner was an excellent game for her.
Later, Irina felt that something was disturbed in their relationship with her husband. Perhaps she simply did not take root in a foreign country to her, and she did not want to be an emigrant all her life. And she no longer felt much love for her husband. There was only a feeling of friendship and gratitude for the fact that he helped her to leave Russia and ensured her a comfortable existence. Irina was also grateful to her husband for her daughter.
But she no longer wanted to stay in Finland and decided to return to Russia without a livelihood. Together with her daughter, Irina settled in St. Petersburg.
Irina's husband did not want to give her daughter and came next to Russia. His mother hires a lawyer and demands through the court to take her granddaughter back to Finland for the simple reason that the girl was born in Finland and according to the documents was Finnish.
The series ends with the girl disappearing.
