Next, they make a basis for a New Year's tree: a cone is rolled up from thick cardboard, its edges are fixed with glue, transparent tape or a stapler. In an arbitrary or thoughtful order, blanks from napkins are alternately glued onto the cone, moving from the base to the top of the "trunk" - the blanks can alternate in color, be placed in a spiral or in a circle, have different sizes in diameter.

Then, on a wooden barbecue skewer or any other pointed stick lubricated with glue, cone-shaped blanks are strung according to the principle of children's pyramids, fixing them on the "trunk" with large beads. A finished Christmas tree made of lace napkins is placed on a stand or placed in a small flower pot and decorated with decorative elements.
