Home decoration for the upcoming New Year holidays is a very exciting creative process that allows you to create unique and stylish interior elements from the most unexpected materials. An elegant Christmas tree made of napkins, made by hand, will easily fit into a residential or office environment and easily create a festive atmosphere.
The Christmas tree is the main symbol of the New Year, through the efforts of professional designers in recent years it appears before us in a variety of shapes, designs and colors. If the traditional green tree for some reason does not triple you, make an original decoration from a soft and pliable material - napkins or paper towels.
How to make a Christmas tree out of paper napkins
To make an unusual Christmas tree, you will need a pack of three-layer monophonic napkins. When choosing a color, you should be guided by your own preferences - the tree can be traditional green, two-color, etc.
Each napkin is folded in half twice, fastened in the center with a stapler and a round blank is cut out. A separate element of the future Christmas tree is formed from each blank: the top layer of the napkin is lifted with your fingers, gently twisted towards the center. The same actions are repeated with the rest of the layers of the workpiece until, until you get the semblance of a lush flower. The number of "flowers" will depend on the size of the tree.
Next, they make a basis for a New Year's tree: a cone is rolled up from thick cardboard, its edges are fixed with glue, transparent tape or a stapler. In an arbitrary or thoughtful order, blanks from napkins are alternately glued onto the cone, moving from the base to the top of the "trunk" - the blanks can alternate in color, be placed in a spiral or in a circle, have different sizes in diameter.
A finished Christmas tree made of napkins is decorated with beads, ribbons, garlands or any other decorative elements. If desired, paper napkins can be replaced with thick tulle - such a tree will look very lush, light and airy.

Round napkins, used for table setting or decorating boxes of confectionery, can be a great material for making a stylish Christmas tree. Both white and silver, gold or any other color napkins can be used in the work.
The most beautiful Christmas trees are obtained using napkins of various sizes: each of them is cut on one side, folded into a pointed cone, the edges of which are fixed with glue and the blanks are left to dry completely.
Then, on a wooden barbecue skewer or any other pointed stick lubricated with glue, cone-shaped blanks are strung according to the principle of children's pyramids, fixing them on the "trunk" with large beads. A finished Christmas tree made of lace napkins is placed on a stand or placed in a small flower pot and decorated with decorative elements.
