The art of bonsai is not available to everyone. It is not so easy to grow a miniature tree in conditions far from natural. But you can make such a plant with your own hands. Its leaves are woven from beads. When the crown is ready, you need to create the texture of the tree on the trunk and branches.

Instructions

Step 1

To make the product more durable, make a wire frame. Bend three thick wires in half, and then twist together. Spread the upper "branches" to the sides and bend like the branches of a tree.

Step 2

Roll out brown polymer clay into a layer 1-1.5 cm thick. Its height should be equal to the height of the trunk. Wrap the barrel with plastic and carefully coat the joint. Try to match the shape of the irregularities on the frame - this will help mimic the actual shape of the trunk. Do the same with the branches of the tree.

Step 3

Work on the texture of the tree more carefully. Crumple a piece of paper in your hands. Then straighten it and attach it to the barrel - irregularities and "cracks" will be printed on it. Using a toothpick or a match, draw grooves on the workpiece, as on real bark. Find a photo of a tree on the Internet and try to repeat a typical pattern of its bark.

Step 4

Wait until the plastic is completely dry or bake the workpiece in the oven (read the processing instructions on the plastic packaging). After that, it can be colored to enhance its resemblance to a tree. Choose acrylic paint for painting - with its help it is easy to choose the desired shade, it is resistant to moisture and dries quickly.

Step 5

Mix a shade of brown on the palette with a slightly darker tone than the color of the plastic. Dip a small piece of foam sponge into the paint and place it on the paper several times to remove the excess. Then, lightly apply the paint to the grooves on the surface of the wood. The spots should be soft, without clear boundaries.

Step 6

Then choose a shade of brown that is lighter than the base. Dip a dry, hard-bristled brush, such as bristle, into it. Use it to paint a few strokes on paper. The brush should remain semi-dry. Run the brush along the trunk and branches along the length, leaving light strokes on the surface of the bark - they will give the fake tree a complex but natural shade. After the paint has dried, the product can be coated with a matte varnish.
