A transformable beach bag is indispensable for a summer weekend. Bathing accessories and sandwiches can be freely placed in it, and on the beach this bag will turn into a lounger.
It is necessary
- - 2 pieces (length - 1 m 60 cm width - 55 cm):
- - bright cotton fabric;
- - waterproof material such as varnish (for the outside of the bag);
- - braid (length - 1 m 30 cm, width - 3 cm);
- - 4 pieces of foam rubber (50x39 cm);
Instructions
Step 1
Sew the required number of patch pockets on the front of the bag, trim the upper sections with tape.
To make belt loops: cut 6 pieces 5 cm long from the braid and sew them in two pieces on the front of the bag: top, bottom, in the middle at a distance of 25 cm from each other.
Fold two types of fabric with the right side inward and sew them on three sides: one short and two long, leaving the fourth side open, into which the pieces of foam will be inserted.
Lay all 4 pieces of foam rubber, stitch the open cut, tucking the allowances inward. Place stitches between each piece of foam.
Step 2
Make bag handles from the remaining tape. Thread them on the front of the bag into the belt loops and bring them under the bottom so that the handles come out to the back. Adjust the length with tape and secure the ends. Movable handles, depending on the filling of the bag, will allow you to adjust its volume.
Step 3
You can sew a similar bag with side zippers. To do this, you need to bend the outer sections with foam rubber inward, and sew two zippers and short handles with a length equal to the width of the foam rubber (39-40 cm) to the middle ones.
