It is necessary

  • - ropes or twine;
  • - knife or scissors;
  • - ruler;
  • - sticks;
  • - metal anchor with hook 10x50;
  • - 2 rings.

Instructions

Step 1

Consider one of the ways to weave a hammock. Take two bars 3 to 4 cm thick, equal in length to the width of the hammock. Drill holes along the entire length of the bars at a distance of 6 to 8 cm. Prepare the rope, it should pass freely in the drilled holes of the bars. Then cut the rope into pieces. The length of each such part should be 3 times longer than the hammock itself, and there are 2 times more segments than on one bar of holes. Prepare two rings with which the hammock will be put on the hooks screwed into the hammock post-holders.

Step 2

We start weaving. Two pieces of rope are threaded into each hole on the bar at once. Then they are threaded into a ring, folded back by 10 cm and secured with a knot. The distance between the bar and the ring is? the length of the hammock.

Step 3

The net at the hammock is made like this: the ends of the ropes come out of the hole in the bar. It is necessary to tie them in pairs in knots, that is, a cord from one hole is connected to a cord from another hole. If you tie the cords in this way, you get cells - a mesh. As soon as you get the mesh of the length you need, we finish the weave, but in the very last row, the cells should be located in the same way as in the first.

Step 4

The ends of the ropes are threaded in pairs into the holes of the second bar and fixed on the ring. A strong rope can be threaded into the edges of the net so that the hammock does not stretch too much under load. To securely hang the hammock, use a metal anchor with a 10x50 hook. Such anchors are used for swings. But keep in mind that the posts or other support for hanging the hammock must be very strong. Drive the anchors into the posts and hang the finished hammock by the rings. You can go to bed and rest.
