White cotton wool with all its appearance resembles fluffy snowdrifts. But there is one important difference: it does not melt in the heat. Work with your child to make a wadded snowman. Such a toy will decorate your room and, of course, will not melt with the coming of spring.

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the frame of the toy from a sheet of cardboard. To do this, cut a rectangle 20 cm long and 17 cm wide. Place it vertically and divide it into three zones with horizontal stripes.
Step 2
Set aside the bottom strip 8 cm, the middle one 6.5 cm and the top one 5.5 cm wide. At the right edge of the sheet, draw a vertical strip 1.5 cm wide. Glue it with glue and glue a cylindrical tube 20 cm high from a rectangle.
Step 3
Unwind and cut a layer 2-2.5 cm thick and length equal to the circumference of the tube made from the cotton roll. Carefully tear off three strips 3, 4 and 5 cm wide from this piece.
Step 4
Glue the resulting cotton strips to the frame in the middle of the marked divisions. Place the narrowest one at the top, the middle one in the middle and the widest one at the bottom. This is necessary in order to give roundness to the shape of the future snowman. Sew the ends of the strips together with threads.
Step 5
Prepare another layer of cotton wool so that it wraps around the entire side surface of the workpiece. Apply glue to the remaining cardboard. Wrap the workpiece with cotton wool, press it in the places of gluing. Sew the edges discreetly with white thread.
Step 6
Tie the snowman with a thin satin ribbon in two places: at a height of 8 and 14.5 cm. Cut the edges of the ribbon and hide. You now have the base of the toy, consisting of a rounded head and torso.
Step 7
Form two small dense balls of cotton wool. These will be the hands of a snowman. Sew on the sides of the mid-torso. Sew a small loop at the end of one arm to secure the broom later. Make the eyes, nose, and mouth of a snowman out of colored paper. Glue two small buttons on your chest.
Step 8
Make a hat out of colored paper for a snowman, or tie a hat with a pompom and a scarf. Make a broom from twigs, use a pencil as a handle. Put it in the loop on your hand, and - a soft cotton toy is ready.
