It is necessary
Cotton wool, starch, water, glass, small saucepan or ladle, teaspoon, gas or electric stove
Instructions
Step 1
To do this, it is necessary to make them not from snow, which quickly melts from the heat, turning into pools of water. Eco-friendly artificial snowballs can be made from cotton wool. And the first step is to prepare the glue. It will also be environmentally friendly, as you will prepare it from natural ingredients - water and starch. This glue must be welded. It's called paste. Take a glass and pour two hundred and fifty milliliters of cold water into it. You may need to weld more paste, depending on the number of snowballs.
Step 2
Stir two teaspoons of starch evenly and bring the mixture to a boil, but do not boil. Remember to stir. The paste is ready when it is thick enough to be spread on with a brush, for example.
Step 3
Leave the welded glue to cool down to a temperature comfortable for working with your hands.
Step 4
Form balls of the required sizes from the cotton wool. Imagine how large the snowballs would be comfortable for your hands, and how much for children. Large balls of cotton will use up more.
Step 5
Prepare a container suitable for dipping in glue, fill it with cooled paste.
Step 6
Dip the formed balls one at a time into the paste and remove.
Step 7
Spread the glue more evenly over the surface of the cotton ball with your fingers. Squeeze out the excess adhesive if necessary.
Step 8
Place the resulting blanks on a plastic surface or tray. It is even preferable to use a large, flat ceramic or glass plate with a smooth surface.
Step 9
Put the snowballs to dry for about a day. And for even drying, periodically (after 2-3 hours) turn them over.
Step 10
After drying, the resulting "snowballs" must be slightly crumpled and placed in a box or basket. They can simply be used as a complement to an artificial snowdrift under the Christmas tree.
