We all love experimentation, even if we don't even notice. We've all experimented sometime, most of all, of course, in childhood. However, as adults, we can approach this matter from the other side and set up an experiment, as they say, with feeling, with sense, with constellation.

Instructions

Step 1

First, decide what kind of experiment you want to do. This can be a test of human senses for strength or a test of the strength of a sheet of plywood, an attempt to launch a homemade airplane into the sky or an attempt to jump from a bell tower and fly on homemade wings, an experiment conducted in a scientific laboratory with chemical substances, or a home experiment with a small explosion. In any case, you need a certain amount of knowledge in the area with which your experiment will be associated. Therefore, stock up on books and time and start studying.

Step 2

Before starting the experiment, find all the materials, the necessary substances, cones, flasks - preferably with a margin. If one flask explodes, you can always replace it with another. Take care of safety precautions: in specially equipped laboratories they have already thought about this before you, but if the experiment is carried out at home or on the street, it is your sacred duty to protect other people and especially children. Make sure a thousand times that as a result of your trials you will not kill yourself and send your household or bystanders to the next world.

Step 3

Conducting any experiment requires maximum concentration of attention. Therefore, isolate yourself from all sources of noise: turn off the radio, TV, computer (unless you need it during the experiment), close the windows so that you are not distracted by noise from the street, take the children and the dog to your relatives and get down to business in absolute silence …

Step 4

Take notes describing in detail all stages of the experiment. It is important for future generations to know in which week the mutant, raised by you at home, got horns, and which week. Even if this is not a serious scientific experience, but just the fun of a bored intellectual, these recordings will still be useful to you: focusing on them, you can improve the methods of conducting experiments. In addition, thirty years will pass, and you will show the yellowed notebooks to your grandchildren, and they will rejoice that their grandfathers worked miracles in their time.

Step 5

Even if you are the sole developer of the experiment, get yourself a team, especially if the project is being prepared on a large scale. Establish a chain of command from the very beginning: I came up with - you help. But assistants will probably come in handy in any case, you can concentrate on the scientific, most interesting part of the case, and they will do all the dirty work. Good luck on the path of science!
