Is there a mess in your boxes all the time? Then you need a separator that will fix this problem. And now we will find out how to do it.
It is necessary
- - flat platband 220x9x1 cm;
- - white acrylic paint;
- - square;
- - electric jigsaw;
- - chisel;
- - sandpaper;
- - brush;
- - pencil.
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing to do is to draw the platband as shown in the diagram, and then saw it. Thus, you get 4 parts; the first is 52.5 cm, the second and third are 49.5 cm and the fourth is 25.5 cm. Then sand the edges of the cuts with sandpaper. Where the separated parts will intersect after assembling the separator, you need to make a markup. From the resulting markings, you should step back to the right and left by 0.5 centimeters. As a result, you get the width of the future cut, that is, 1 centimeter. But this cut will not be along the entire height of the platband, but only up to half, so mark the middle on it.
Step 2
Using an electric jigsaw, saw through the parts along the markings. Try to do everything very neatly and smoothly.
Step 3
Parts cut off with a jigsaw should be removed with a chisel. The edges of the cuts must be sanded with sandpaper so that there are no irregularities and roughness.
Step 4
After all the details of the casing are ready, you need to assemble the divider frame from them. This will check that everything is done neatly and that all the details fit together. If all is well, then the frame should be disassembled and painted. Once the paint is dry, reassemble the piece. Drawer divider ready! Now nothing can create a mess.
