It is necessary

  • - fiberboard or thick cardboard (thickness 2-3 mm);
  • - PVA glue;
  • - acrylic paints (colors: white, blue, gold);
  • - autumn dried leaves and flowers;
  • - ruler;
  • - eraser;
  • - simple pencil;
  • - paint brushes;
  • - a brush for glue;
  • - acrylic varnish;
  • - a small board (a piece of plastic or cardboard).

Instructions

Step 1

Cut a rectangle from a sheet of cardboard or fiberboard. You can additionally sand the edges with sandpaper, if necessary. The size of the rectangle depends on the size of the prepared natural material and the scale of the idea.

Step 2

Using a ruler, mark the window on the workpiece. Extra lines can be removed with an eraser, but they will not be visible under the paint anyway. Although if the whitewash is transparent, then it is better to play it safe and not be too lazy to remove the extra lines.

Remove dust and pellets from the surface of the workpiece with a dry brush. This is necessary in order for the paint to lay down neatly and evenly.

Step 3

Take white paint to the palette and add a little blue, so that the color is not blue, but only slightly shade the brightness of the white. With this composition, paint the window frame indicated on our blank. Let the layer dry.

Step 4

Apply white on the palette and dilute it with blue paint enough to get a sky blue color. This will be the sky outside the window. We paint the corresponding fragments of the workpiece. Let the paint dry. Separate the frame from the glass with paint 1-2 tones darker than our sky. We do this with a thin brush. We apply the lines somewhat carelessly, which will give the work a certain charm inherent in old and worn-out things. Dry the layer.

Step 5

With a dry brush, apply gold paint to the frame, and white paint on the glass. These are scuffs on paint and reflections on glass.

When the workpiece is completely dry, glue the dried flowers and leaves as your imagination tells you. At this stage, it is already possible to connect children aged 2-3 years to work. Children will enjoy the process of sticking leaves and flowers. Older children can help paint the workpiece.

Step 6

When the glue dries up, it remains to apply acrylic varnish to the entire surface and our autumn panel is ready.
