Step 1
In order to sew a fluffy skirt, you will need about 2-3 meters of fabric (tulle or tulle) 140 cm wide, a wide elastic band, and a satin ribbon to decorate the belt. Skirt material can be purchased at the store, or you can use old synthetic tulle curtains. In the first case, you will receive a large selection of colors and textures. In the second, you can save money and free the mezzanine from trash. Remember, the tighter you choose the material, the more fluffy the skirt will be.
Step 2
First, cut out all the necessary parts. Cut off a piece of elastic, measuring around your waist. The elastic should fit snugly around the belt, but not overtighten it either. Cut the prepared fabric into 50 rectangular strips. The width of these cuts is 10-15 cm, and the length is calculated by the formula: 2 product lengths + 10 cm. Now all the details are ready, you can start sewing directly.
Step 3
First, join the elastic band into the ring using a thread and a needle. Then start putting on the prepared strips on this ring. To do this, fold the strip in half, so that a conditional "loop" forms on top of it, and free ends are on the bottom. Slide our "loop" under the elastic from the bottom up. Next, pull the free ends through this "eyelet" so that they are on top. Repeat this with the rest of the strips. If you do everything correctly, the stripes are supported at the bottom with “loops”, which gives the skirt extra fluffiness
Step 4
The skirt for the girl is almost ready. It remains to decorate it. Gently pin the satin ribbon around the waistband of the skirt, stretching the elastic a little so that the garment can be worn loosely. Remember to leave loose ends of the ribbon to tie the bow. Next, run the stitch along the ribbon, also stretching the belt slightly. Remove the pins and tie a bow.
