Not every kind of fish honestly caught in the river can be removed by a fisherman. The thing is that in Russia there are bans on catching a number of fish species, as well as partial and temporary restrictions on catch at different times of the year.
Instructions
Step 1
Every fishing enthusiast should know what kind of fish he can catch, and which one is better to release back into the water. You should also be aware of the "minimum size of individuals" that are allowed to get out of the water. They are determined according to the principle of determining the length of a fish that has reached a sexual state and is capable of spawning. This suggests that fishermen have the right to catch only those fish that have managed to leave behind offspring.
Step 2
It should also not be forgotten that the local Fishing Rules in some cases contain, in an additional order, prohibitions on the use of certain objects and methods of fishing in a particular body of water. Very often there are bans on fishing using new methods and catching individuals with new gear that do not comply with fishing rules. Thus, in order to avoid misunderstandings, following the fishing rules, fishermen are prohibited from using and even independently extracting from the reservoir without the presence of special bodies found prohibited or commercial fishing items, as well as the catch in them.
Step 3
You should be aware that fishing with a net can only be approved by obtaining a special license from the local fisheries department. However, even with a permit, the catch should not contain fish from the Red Book of Russia, as well as fish from the salmon and sturgeon families. This does not apply to selected private water bodies operating on a commercial basis.
Step 4
In addition to all this, in some places, in order to prevent the extraction of young individuals, it is prohibited to catch crayfish and fish, the sizes of which do not correspond to the established commercial sizes. This value implies the measurement of the length of the fish carcass, which is calculated along the lateral line from the top of the snout to the base of the middle rays of the fin in the tail section. So, for example, in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea, you cannot catch pike perch, the length of which is less than 35 centimeters, and carp, which is at least 30 centimeters long. In the Murmansk region, you cannot fish for trout, the carcass of which is less than 40 cm in size and bream with a body less than 22 cm.
Step 5
If a fisherman accidentally caught a fish prohibited for catch that does not correspond to a certain size, he must immediately release it into the water alive. For those who wish to fish for valuable species of fish individuals, they must obtain a one-time nominal permit from the special fish protection authorities.
