In the morning and evening dawn, roach bite well. For successful fishing, you need to choose a place with a weak current, and ideally, where the current is barely noticeable. The best bait is maggot, bloodworms, caddis larvae, bread crumb. In some cases, roach picks up well on thread.
The easiest way to catch a chub is from places where streams flow into the river, or near a steep bank overgrown with trees and bushes. The best baits are of animal origin. Beetles, dragonflies, grasshoppers, worms, small frogs. It is worse caught with vegetable baits. Chub can be caught from dawn until noon, at other times it is almost never caught.
In the July heat, pike perch should be caught on the rifts, or near deep holes. The best time to fish is either at sunrise or after sunset; at other times, it can only be caught by accident. Lures, wobblers, vibrotails, live baits, large earthworms are used as baits.
The omnivorous pike hides in the shady and deepest places of the reservoir in the July heat. You can lure her with a spoon, live bait, frog. In some cases, she, like pike perch, suffices large earthworms.
Asp can be caught on the rifts or near the channels. They catch him on an artificial fly using a fly fishing rod throughout the day: from dawn to dusk.
