The Japanese art of paper folding - origami - is a good option not only for making independent figures and paper sculptures, but also for folding original envelopes, postcards and letter design. An unusual envelope or postcard folded using the origami technique can draw attention to even the most ordinary and inconspicuous congratulations.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a square piece of paper in the color and size you want. Bend it diagonally, and then bend the top front corner of the resulting triangle down towards the center. Bend the right corner of the triangle to the left by a third of the length of the base of the triangle. Then fold the left corner to the right as well.
Step 2
Fold the corner that is on top, fold it back and open it, and then flatten the pocket so that a small square forms at the junction of the lower sides of the envelope. Fold the top corner of the envelope down and secure it in a square.
Step 3
Write a congratulation on the envelope, glue an applique or a beautiful sticker with a heart or flower. Place a greeting card, valentine, or letter inside the envelope.
Step 4
Use your imagination and design the envelope and greeting card according to your creative ideas. Such a gift will be remembered by your friend or close relative for a long time, unlike a regular purchase postcard.
Step 5
To make origami.
Step 6
Anyone can learn how to fold such an envelope, and the process of making it will take you no more than two or three minutes. If you wish, you can fold many more envelopes to congratulate several friends and loved ones on the holidays at once.
