Felt is flexible, bright and expressive material. It is enough to arm yourself with sharp scissors and bold ideas to create an exclusive accessory or gift bag with an excellent hydrangea on the wave of inspiration.
It is necessary
- - bright orange felt (4 mm thick);
- - multi-colored felt 2 mm thick (green, red, orange, yellow);
- - white beads;
- - cotton fabric (for lining);
- - scissors "zigzag";
- - coin
Instructions
Step 1
Cut out the base of the bag and the two sidewalls from the bright orange felt. Prepare 12 colors of red, orange and yellow felt. Using scissors, cut out a zigzag of green felt 2 strips measuring 1 * 42 cm, a stem (2 * 10 cm) and two leaves.
Step 2
On the basis of the product, mark the bottom, and on the front side of the bag - three circles. Make a hydrangea with 12 red, 12 orange and 8 yellow flowers. To do this, sew each flower in the center in a circle with a needle forward seam, pull the thread, thus forming a leg.
Step 3
Attach the blank to the bag, securing three beads in the core. Sew on the leaves by making a "back needle" seam along the central vein.
Step 4
Baste narrow green stripes on the base. Fold it in half and sew on the sidewalls. To decorate the bottom, sew along the folds of the base, piercing both layers of felt at once.
Step 5
Cut out two circles with a diameter of 3.5 cm from red felt. Embroider a monogram with beads on one part, sew four yellow flowers on the second circle, as described earlier.
Step 6
Insert a coin between the circles and sew along the outline by inserting one end of the stem. Attach the other end of the stem under the flower on the bag so that when the bag is closed, the flowers are outside.
Step 7
For a lining with seam allowances, cut out the base, two side panels and a pocket from the cotton fabric. Place the pocket on the base, sew.
Step 8
Use green felt to make lining handles and stitch them to the base. Sew the lining and insert it into the bag, stitching along the top and sides of the felt pieces.
Step 9
Finish the holes in the handles around the perimeter while securing the stem to the front of the bag. Use a sharp object to poke holes in the lining handles.
