Abstractionism in art is characterized not by a clear, but by an approximate depiction of forms and objects. With the help of abstraction, you can convey exactly your vision of something or simply demonstrate the mood.
Instructions
Step 1
Abstraction is characterized by bright colors. Abstract art is subdivided into several trends. Each of them stands out with something special - clear geometric designs or soft contours; cold, dark or warm tones. In abstract art, you can use the usual tools - brushes and canvas, but it is better to paint with your fingers, sponges - non-standard objects that give an interesting effect when painting. It is also fashionable to draw with hands among abstractionists because in this direction it is believed that the artist draws not with a brush, but with his soul. In abstract art, it is not customary to draw a pencil sketch. If some line does not go where it was originally intended - so be it.
Step 2
You can paint the abstraction in watercolor. Take a sheet of paper and paints that best convey your mood in color. You will need a lot of water. Dampen the brush well, do not wipe it off or let it dry. Dip it in paint, then you can dip it in water again. Then quickly bring the brush to a piece of paper and leave a drop without touching it. Let it flow and repeat with the other colors. You can leave a lot of white space, or, on the contrary, try to fill it all with bright colors. When the paints start to dry, you can take a stiff bristled brush or a tooth puppy and blend the edges of the resulting objects a little.
Step 3
To draw abstraction, you can use a ruler with geometric shapes, for example, an officer's ruler. Draw the background on a white sheet. To do this, first wet it with water. It is best if it is not uniform. You can spray paint from afar and let it flow, you can quickly draw a strip on a wet sheet and blend with a wet brush. You should achieve a gradient effect - a dark saturated color at the top and a light, translucent color to the bottom of the sheet. Let the background dry. Take a ruler and draw shapes over the background. It is best to do this immediately with paint. You can come up with some kind of plot or arrange colors randomly. In any case, you always have an excuse - "this is the author's idea."
