Cats are cute fluffy creatures, so it's no surprise that kids and adults alike enjoy making crafts like these pets. Try to make a whole family of bright and funny cats, especially since it will not be difficult to create them if you follow the instructions step by step.
Colored paper matryoshka cat
You can fold such a cat very quickly. This craft is made on the basis of a simple glass using origami technique.
To make crafts you will need:
- sheets of colored paper;
- scissors;
- marker or black felt-tip pen.
- Cut out squares of different sizes from sheets of paper.
- Place one of the squares with the corner facing up.
- Fold in half with a triangle.
- Fold the corner to the right so that the corner extends to the left side.
- Fold the corner from the left to the right in the same way.
- Bend the tongues at the top of the part as follows. Bend the part that is closer to you towards you, and the back in the opposite direction.
- Now the resulting glass can be turned into a cute cat. Turn the workpiece so that the hole is at the bottom. Push the part a little in the center to make a cat's head with ears.
- Use a felt-tip pen or marker to draw the cat's face. You can also draw legs, tail and stripes.
- You can make many crafts from squares of different sizes, from a large cat to a small kitten. Insert them into each other, so you get a whole family of matryoshka cats.
Step-by-step master class on making a cat
You will need:
- roll base for toilet paper;
- gouache;
- brush;
- colored paper;
- scissors;
- glue stick;
- black gel pen.
- Take a cardboard roll from under toilet paper and paint it in the desired shade. The cat can be black, red, striped or completely unimaginable color.
- Fold the upper part of the workpiece, bending slightly inward. Glue the slices together.
- Now it remains to make the cat's face and add accessories. From white paper, cut out two circles and two smaller green or black circles for the eyes. For the pillows, make two round pieces to match the body of the cat.
- Glue small eye circles on one edge of the white pieces. Attach them to your upper torso.
- Glue the pillow mugs just below and draw a mustache on them with a black gel pen.
- Cut a heart out of pink paper and glue the spout on the beads.
- Cut out details for the tail and legs. Attach the tail to the back of the roll and the paws to the underside.

- thick colored paper;
- stationery knife;
- black felt-tip pen or gel pen.
- For a colored paper bookmark, cut a 10 x 5 cm strip.
- Draw one of the edges of the detail in the form of a cat's head. Cut out the pointed ears and draw a muzzle for the cat.
- Below the head, on the torso, draw 2 equal U-shaped legs along the long side of the part.
- Cut the legs along the contour with a clerical knife. The cat bookmark is ready.
