Step 1
The choice of material. It is best to use beeswax as the starting material for creating a voodoo doll. Why? It is believed that this is a pure substance that accepts and retains the energy that is put into it. Moreover, wax perfectly retains the energy of the person who came into contact with it for a long time. In addition to wax, a bunch of straw or a dry branch of a tree is used for the same purposes. The doll itself is made of straw, but it is carved out of wood. But wax is more plastic, therefore it is preferable.
Step 2
Creature. The wax can be in tiles or in pieces, so for the convenience of processing, we first melt it over low heat in a suitable container. Cool it down to such an extent that you can pick it up and start sculpting. The task is to sculpt a figure that is as close as possible to a human. If the "object" is male, the doll must have pronounced male genitals. If a woman - feminine.
After the "golem" is ready, it should be wrapped in a clean cloth and left alone for a few days to prepare for the "initiation" ritual.
Step 3
Name and image. Voodoo practice assumes that the doll should be as identified with the object of influence as possible: have a name, as well as hair, nails and fabric that the object wears. It is believed that hair, nails and tissue carry the energy of the object. In other words, having at our disposal a "sample" of energy, it can be influenced by other energies, in particular, by the energetics of the shaman.
First you have to collect "artifacts": hair, nails, samples of clothing or fabrics with which the object is in contact. When everything is assembled, we "dress" the doll. We put our nails in our hands, we attach the hair on the head, we make a kind of clothes from the fabric. It remains to give the doll a name. This is assumed to be the name of the object. The voodoo doll is now ready.
