Leather rose is an element with which you can decorate absolutely any accessory, make it original and unique. If you have a small piece of genuine leather at your disposal, then try to make a similar decoration from this material.
It is necessary
- - Genuine Leather;
- - acrylic paints of a suitable color (what color do you want to make a rose);
- - automobile primer;
- - glue;
- - candle;
- - cardboard (for patterns).
Instructions
Step 1
Put cardboard in front of you, pick up a pencil and draw a shape that looks like a heart. The size of the figure can be any, but it is worth remembering that the larger they are, the larger the rose itself will eventually turn out.
Put the resulting pattern on the prepared piece of leather, circle the shape and cut it out. In this way, make at least eight parts.
Step 2
Next, take a candle, light it. Alternately take each "petal" with tweezers by the narrower edge, bring it to the candle flame with the suede side for a couple of seconds (this is necessary in order for the "petals" to bend slightly).
Cover each petal with a primer on the outside (smooth) and let them dry (they should dry for at least 30 minutes).
Step 3
After all the petals are dry, take an acrylic paint of a suitable color, for example, pink, yellow, red, and paint all the petals with it. It is worth remembering that in no case should you dilute paints with water.
Let the paint dry thoroughly.
Step 4
Take one petal in your hands and gently twist it with a tube, secure everything with glue. The result is the core of a rose.
Step 5
Take the resulting core in your left hand, and a petal in your right hand. Wrap the petal around the core, slightly bending the edges of the applied petal. Attach everything as firmly as possible with glue (you can use either hot glue or super glue).
Step 6
Apply the next petal in the same way, wrap it around the bud, slightly fold the edges and glue. Glue the rest of the petals in the same way, applying them on one or the other side of the bud crosswise. The leather rosette is ready, now it needs to be allowed to dry, then you can decorate any accessory with it.
