Rose is the most popular flower. Created with your own hands using the wet felting technique, it can be as beautiful as it is alive. True, its range of applications is wider. A felted rose can serve as a wonderful accessory and decorate your hair, clothes, bag or interior item.
It is necessary
- - wool for wet felting
- - silk or viscose fibers
- - water
- - liquid soap
- - pimpled film
Instructions
Step 1
In order to make a rose from wool using the wet felting technique, you will need a couple of shades of red wool and fiber for decoration.
Step 2
Cut out the circular pattern from the bubble wrap. Spread the wool on it from the outside towards the center of the circle. Moisten the wool with water and liquid soap and spread silk and viscose fibers on it for decoration. Lay the fibers for the rose in the circle of the product. Moisten it again. Cover the workpiece with some bubble wrap and press down lightly. You can go through with a vibrating sander without moving the film. Flip the circle over to the wrong side, and wrap the protruding fibers, forming an even circle. Cover the workpiece with plastic wrap and press down. Gently pull the circle out of the foil and straighten the coat.
Step 3
In order to make a felted rose with your own hands, wrap the wool in plastic and roll it on the table. To prevent the workpiece from stretching, change its position several times and roll it in different directions.
Step 4
After the wool in the circle is matted, rinse it in hot water without squeezing hard. Then rub the edge of the circle with your hands and repeat the felting on the roll several times.
Step 5
Cut the workpiece in a circle with sharp scissors. Rub the edges with your hands and roll the product a little more in the film.
Step 6
Felle the leaves separately for decoration, and decorate them with silk fibers as well. Sew the rose and leaves together. Sew a hairpin or pin to the wrong side. Such roses made of wool, made using the wet felting technique, will effectively decorate a panel or a pillow for a sofa.
