Step 1
Beads are one of the most favorite women's jewelry. They will be a great addition to a dress or sweater. Matched in tone, felted beads will complement the feminine look. In order to make DIY felted decorations using the wet felting technique, you will need a little strained wool, liquid soap and water. Tear off a small piece from the wool and form a ball. After slightly dampening it with warm water and soap added to it, roll the ball between your hands. As you add wool to the ball, keep rolling it between your hands until it becomes firm. Make as many beads as you need for future beads. After that, rinse them thoroughly in warm running water, shape and dry on a towel. Add additional decor from decorative beads, pick up accessories and collect beads.
Step 2
Brooches have long ceased to be just an adornment of clothes. They can be used to decorate a belt, bag or scarf. The technique of wet wool felting allows even an inexperienced craftswoman to make a brooch quickly and easily. Prepare a bubble wrap. Separating small strands from the wool, lay them in several layers on the film, alternating the direction. Moisten the coat with soap and water, place a piece of plastic on it and roll it a little with a rolling pin. Lift the film and shape with your hands. Then keep dumping until you have a tight brooch blank. So make a few different sized circles. Rinse them in warm running water and pat dry on a towel. Gather in the center together, decorate with various beads to match. Attach the brooch clip on the wrong side. And you can use felted wool decoration for its intended purpose.
Step 3
In order to make DIY felted decorations, you don't have to use a bead clasp. Make the beads a little longer.
If you do not have decorative beads for a brooch, make a small wool bead to match the product.
Match felted beads with wooden beads or fabric beads. Beads of the same color but different textures look very creative.
