To make a simple but elegant hairstyle decoration, you will need a small piece of tulle, which is cut into squares of equal size. The size of the finished bow will depend on the size and number of blanks. Each square is folded four times, rotated diagonally to form a rhombus and fastened with a needle to maintain its shape.
From a dense fabric: felt, felt, drape, a round base is cut out for the future bow. In the center of the circle, you need to make a small hole through which you can thread the hair tie. Each workpiece is manually sewn onto the base, placing the rhombuses so that the free edges of the workpiece are facing up. To make such a decoration, you will need a strip of fabric, which is folded several times: the thicker the folded blank is, the more magnificent the bow will turn out. The folded fabric is tied with a weak knot and the same actions are repeated with a strip of tulle of a contrasting color.
The second strip folded in layers is threaded into the assembly of the first blank, after which the assembly must be pulled tight. The folds of both strips of fabric are carefully cut with scissors and carefully straightened. If necessary, the edges of the finished bow are trimmed to the same length. On the back of the knot, sew a hair tie or insert a long invisible hairpin. The finished bow can be decorated with beads, rhinestones or beads.
Bow flower
To make an exquisite and original bow in the shape of a flower, you will need eight tulle squares measuring 20x20 cm. Each square of fabric is folded four times, as for making paper snowflakes, after which the upper part of the blank is cut in the form of an inverted V.
The unfolded part should be in the shape of a flower with elongated petals. The blanks are laid on top of each other, placing the petals in a checkerboard pattern, after which all the parts are fastened together in the center with a needle and thread. The petals of the flower are raised up, and its lower central part is slightly pinched and pulled, forming a narrow base of the flower. The shape of the base is fixed with several stitches with a thread matched to the color of the bow.
The central part of the finished product can be decorated with round beads, and the petals can be embroidered with sparkles or beads. The flower is fixed on a hair comb, hairpin or elastic band.
