If you want to do industrial fishing, but you do not have the opportunity to buy enough tackle, tie a cap net yourself. Never use the net for poaching, it is not only illegal but also harmful to the environment.

Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting the net with 33 cells. Put them on a thread, take the ends of the knitting and connect them: putting the first and last mesh on the tablet, tie them in a knot. Start knitting the next row. In each row, add a certain number of loops in each row, calculate it using the formula N = x / 11 (N is the number of cells between the increments, x is the number of cells in a row).
Step 2
So, count, in the second row you need to add after 33/11 = 3 cells. Tie the first three cells, and in the third, make an increase, so repeat until the end of the row. Make a knot at the end. Knit the next two rows without increments.
Step 3
Now you have 44 cells in a row, using a simple calculation, determine what should be added in this row every 4 loops. Continue knitting this way until you have the right radius.
Step 4
When the main radius is ready, start creating the pockets. Divide the future pocket into two parts mentally - the outer one, which will be like a continuation of the radius, and the inner one. Please note that the depth of the pocket must be a multiple of 3 cells.
Step 5
When you reach a certain length, start decreasing the cells. Make the deductions at the end of the first half of the pocket. First knit one half, then work on the second of the same length. Knit the last row of nylon thread to give the net strength when planting.
Step 6
Next, start sliding the net onto the cord. First, calculate the distance between the landing nodes, it is equal to the square root of twice the square of the cell length. For example, for cells with a length of 30 mm D = √ (30 ^ 2 * 2) = 42, 4.
Step 7
In order not to make a mistake when landing, mark the cord through the found distance or prepare a measuring shelf of the required width. Leaving about 20 cm of cord, tie the first cell to it. Bring the shelf underneath and tie a simple single knot. Gently pull out the shelf while holding the knot. Pick up the second mesh, pull up to the knot, and tie a sturdy landing knot. In this way, plant all the cells.
Step 8
Bring the cord to the first compartment and knot the edges about 5 mm. Go back to the last cell and connect it again. Cut off the ends and melt them with a lighter.
Step 9
In order for the self-made cap net to open normally, equip it with a load. Use lead weights or small-link stainless steel chains for this. Pass a throwing cord through the upper meshes, the end of which is tied with the main cord.
