A hunter needs a camouflage net in order to be able to approach the game as close as possible. A ready-made camouflage net is expensive and does not always meet all the requirements - in terms of color, cell size, size. You can make a camouflage net yourself, and it will turn out to be no worse than a professional one.

It is necessary

  • - a net of nylon threads;
  • - trimming of fabric, rags, flax, etc.;
  • - paint of yellow, green, brown shades;
  • - brush or spray gun.

Instructions

Step 1

Buy a piece of nylon netting of the required size in the store. In order to camouflage a car, you need a net that is at least 3x6 meters in size (before buying, measure the distance from the ground to the ground across and along the car with a tape measure). To camouflage a person, a net of 2.5x3 meters will be enough.

Step 2

If you are going to make a camouflage net for a hunter, cut out a window for the face in the center. At the same time, singe the edges of the cut threads with a match so that they do not begin to unwind. To prevent your face from being visible during the hunt, make a small curtain out of scraps of mesh and attach it to your forehead - you can fold it back if necessary.

Step 3

Prepare the material for the "rags". If possible, use completely synthetic materials: nylon, nylon, rayon, etc., since they remain light when wet, dry very quickly and do not emit an odor. Choose fabric in a suitable color: swamp green, gray, different shades of brown and yellow.

Step 4

Cut the material into strips 5-15 mm wide. Then fold the strips together or twist, and cut a fringe from each edge, not reaching the middle. You should end up with something like Christmas tinsel. Cut long strips into small pieces of different sizes - from 20 to 50 cm.

Step 5

Instead of fabric, you can use linen in braids, bast and other natural, inexpensive materials. Before starting work, try to wet them - see if the strands become heavy, if there is a smell.

Step 6

Stretch the net and start tying strands and pieces of fabric. Fold the strand in half and thread the loop through the mesh, then return the loop back through the other mesh. Then thread the ends inside the loop and tighten. To secure the fringe more securely, tie a knot not through adjacent cells, but across the cells diagonally.

Step 7

After the homemade camouflage net begins to hide the objects located behind it, paint the strands. To do this, take paint in a can of suitable colors and spray it on the network in a chaotic manner. You can paint the net with a brush, so you can achieve the required degree of contrast and variegation.
