Step 1
From a dense fabric (it is best to take felt or a similar material), you should cut out five circles with a diameter of 7 to 9 cm. You will get "pancakes" that are slightly different in size and resemble cotton pads.
To make the flower decoration look natural, it is worth toning the upper and lower circles with a dull felt. For example, a circle with a diameter of 7 cm can be treated with a pale green, and a circle with a diameter of 9 cm - with a light pink.
Step 2
Then petals must be made on the circles - up to 12 cuts. However, you can give the flower a different shape by drawing a wavy or broken line along the edge and cutting along the outline.
All "pancakes" should be stacked on top of each other in a pyramid.
After that, you need to prepare a hot soapy solution, put the blanks in it and wash for 10 - 15 minutes. From time to time, you will need to straighten the petals. Then you should lightly compact the flower elements by knocking them on a hard surface, and rinse with cold and hot water.
Step 3
The petals need to be squeezed into a towel, and then straightened and folded in a pile. It is better to collect the flower wet, so that after formation, immediately give the petals the desired appearance, and after that dry it.
For the middle, you will need to choose beads or a button. After that it is worth a little "ruffle" the flower.
Step 4
In conclusion, you need to process the back of the flower. If the jewelry is intended as a brooch, you can cut out an additional circle and sew a pin to it, attaching a small rectangle made of the same material. Then it is worth sewing the circle to the finished flower from the back side with stitches across the top. It is important to ensure that the stitches do not end up on the front of the flower; it is better to sew on the back leaves and not very close to the edge.
