Wine bottle corks most often end up in the trash can. Meanwhile, it is a great craft material. Even if there were 2-3 bottles of good wine on the festive table, the corks from them will be enough for an interesting toy, which can be made in just a few minutes.
Single cork toys
Several coasters can be made from one cork. Cut the cork into rings with a width of 0.5 to 2 cm. You need to cut it with a very sharp knife, otherwise the stand will turn out to be uneven. However, you can align it by gluing a piece of corrugated cardboard to an uneven cut.
Find the center of the mug, make a hole in it with an awl, glue the cocktail tube so that it stands upright. Cut 2 identical circles out of thick paper, draw road signs on them. Lubricate the sides of the circles where there are no drawings with glue. Glue both layers by placing the free end of the cocktail stick between them.
Signs can not be drawn, but made by the application of colored tape.
Finger theater
For such a theater, plastic corks from bottles from both wine and lemonade are suitable. Teddy bear, bunny, chanterelle - it all depends on the color of the cork you have at hand. To make a theater, you will also need:
- scissors;
- colored tape or pieces of self-adhesive paper;
- white cloth or paper;
- universal glue;
- cocktail tube.
A white champagne cork is most suitable for making a bunny figure. Make the ears from the wire that secures the cork to the champagne bottle. Insert the ears, cover them with white cloth or paper. Make a muzzle out of colored tape. The eyes are 2 long ovals. It is better to stick them on first of all to cover the lower parts with "cheeks" - circles of pink or white tape. The mouth is a triangle of red tape, the nose is black. Having drawn a muzzle on the cork, all you have to do is insert your finger into the cork, and the finger theater is ready.
The holes in the plastic plug can be pierced with a hot awl.
Christmas tree pendants
Original New Year's pendants can be made from corks. You will also need:
- wire without winding;
- foil;
- universal glue.
Make a loop out of the wire, glue it into the cork. Figure out how you will decorate your pendant. For example, cut an openwork snowflake out of foil. Stick it on the cork. This is the simplest version of a New Year's toy. The applique can be made not only from foil, but also from beads or beads. Glue the elements by pressing them into the cork.
You can make a more complex suspension - for example, from several cylinders connected by a strong thread or wire. The pattern can be repeated, but pendants look interesting, each element of which is decorated in its own way. If there are a lot of traffic jams, you can even make a curtain in the manner of a bamboo one - the corks are strung on long threads, which, in turn, are tied to a wooden stick.
