It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - a tool for quilling;
  • - colorless glue,
  • - cardboard.

Instructions

Step 1

One of the simplest shapes that can be depicted in the quilling style is a flower. Prepare the necessary materials. For one flower, you will need white, light pink, and green strips of paper. You can buy a ready-made set of consumables or cut strips 3-5 mm wide by yourself. For flower petals, prepare 4 strips 15 cm long, the same amount - 12 cm long, 4 pieces 7 and 5 cm, one 10 cm long green paper strip and three 12 cm pieces. Make the base of the card out of a sheet of A5 cardboard by bending it in half.

Step 2

You will need a paper curling tool. You can buy it in the store or make it yourself. A homemade stick can be made from a match or juice tube by making a cut at the end.

Step 3

Take a 15-centimeter strip of white paper, insert the end of it into the slot on the tool and wrap it around the axis, placing one layer on top of the other. Remove the finished ring, put it on the table, holding it with two fingers, and let it unfold a little. When the ring opens to a width of 3-4 cm, glue the tip of the strip to the previous turn. Use your fingers to bend the 2 outer layers of the ring on both sides to create an almond-shaped petal.

Step 4

Wrap a 7 cm long pink strip in the same way, glue the circle, but do not bend it. Insert the piece into the center of the white petal, secure with glue. Also make three more petals from long segments and four from short ones.

Step 5

Use the same principle to make green paper petals. Pinch round blanks only in one place to get long teardrop-shaped leaves. To make the stem, secure the paper in the tool and start winding it up. The strip should be wound in a spiral.

Step 6

Stick all parts onto a cardboard blank. First, apply a thin bead of glue down the center and attach the spiral of the stem to it. Then put some glue on a separate sheet of paper. Dip the petals into it one by one and apply to the card. When the craft is dry, it will be possible to supplement it with an inscription or drawings.
