Enchanting in Minecraft is a great way to make your virtual life easier. They can be applied to objects in two ways - on the enchanting table and on the anvil using enchanted books.

Instructions

Step 1

Enchanted books have many benefits. The fact is that when enchanting on the enchanting table, you practically cannot influence the result. There are quite a few charms, so it is easy enough to spoil valuable diamond tools with the wrong effect. Enchantments on books are also applied randomly, but when you transfer them from book to item, you have complete control over the process.

Step 2

Enchanted books can be made by yourself using the enchant table. To do this, you need to make the book itself out of paper and leather. Paper is crafted from reeds, and leather is obtained by killing cows. In addition to the book, you will need experience. It can be obtained by killing aggressive monsters, hunting animals and extracting valuable resources (coal, iron, red stone, and others). Experience is measured in levels, it is desirable to have at least fifteen to seventeen levels at your disposal.

Step 3

Open the enchanting table interface, put a regular book in the only active slot. Choose how many experience levels you want to spend on enchantments. This can be done using the three buttons that appear in the upper right corner. The numbers indicate the number of levels required to obtain the enchantment, the symbols next to them do not carry a semantic meaning. After choosing an option, an ordinary book will turn into an enchanted one (it will acquire shine and a red ribbon). Hover your cursor over it to find out what spell was cast on it. If the result does not suit you, you will have to spend more experience and enchant another book.

Step 4

Having received a book with the desired spell, go to the anvil. You should already have a tool, weapon, or armor ready to transfer enchantments. Place the selected item (in the left slot) and the desired enchanted book (in the right slot) on the anvil. After that, you will see how much experience is needed to transfer the enchantment. This usually requires little experience. If you have enough of it, take the enchanted item from the corresponding slot and use it.
