To make homemade polymer clay, you will need the following materials:
- PVA glue - about 200 g.
- A glass of cornstarch.
- Lemon juice - a tablespoon.
- Mineral oil - 2 tablespoons.
Combine all of the listed ingredients in one bowl, mix well. Polymer clay turns out to be no worse than what is sold in the store, when all the points of the recipe are fulfilled. Heat the mixture over low heat - you should have a consistency that resembles mashed potatoes. Then it is removed from the heat, cooled a little. While the mixture is still warm, stir it well again. That's all - you can start making polymer clay jewelry.
You can make many pleasant and useful things out of clay. Tableware, figurines, and various decorations are sculpted from the mass. Homemade polymer clay is easy to use, does not stick to hands, and does not dry very quickly. Young children love its firm, smooth surface. When the clay product is ready, it must be air-dried - this will take 2-3 days. Then the clay figurine can be colored.
