Recently, polymer clay has become incredibly popular among craftswomen. You can create a huge number of all kinds of products from it, for example, jewelry in the form of beads, rings, earrings, bracelets, figurines. Keyrings made of polymer clay look especially interesting.
It is necessary
- - polymer clay beige, red and brown;
- - wire;
- - flower-shaped mold;
- - needle;
- - clear nail polish;
- - round-nose pliers;
- - a sharp knife;
- - rolling pin;
- - fittings (key ring with chain).
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your workplace. Make sure you have everything you need to create your keyring.
Step 2
Take brown and beige polymer clay without mixing materials and roll them to a thickness of about five millimeters. From the resulting layers, using a special mold, cut out three shapes in the form of flowers, one shape in beige, and two in brown. For cutting, you can use, for example, a cookie cutter.
Step 3
Place a brown polymer clay figurine in front of you, carefully place a beige figurine on it, then brown again. Align the edges of all the layers and lightly press down on the top so that the layers are pressed against each other.
Step 4
Carefully use a needle (or a toothpick) to make small holes on the front side of the product. Take the wire, carefully pierce the side of the made "flower" with it and deepen it by about a couple of centimeters. Grind the red and beige plastics into a pea and sprinkle generously with the prepared cake flower crumbs.
Step 5
Place the resulting product in the oven (the temperature and baking time depends on the type of polymer clay). As soon as the clay hardens, take out the "pie" and let it cool, then carefully bend the wire into a ring using round-nose pliers. Cover the finished product with clear varnish and let the varnish dry. Attach the hardware to the product. The polymer clay bleach is ready.
