When you create another masterpiece with brushes and paints, you probably want the drawing to be bright and rich. The painting shares about 20 bright shades, which you can compose yourself. Before you start painting, try to get a bright color by mixing the paints in the right way.

Step 1
Prepare a large, handy palette on which you can mix several options at the same time. To do this, take a clean white cloth, plastic tray, varnished board, or paper. Prepare some brushes and a jar of water. Of course, to get bright colors, you cannot do without good professional paints, but you can use ordinary gouache or watercolors.
Step 2
Mix the main shades in turn and get bright intermediate colors: when mixing red and yellow, you get orange, and when you combine blue and red, you can see a juicy purple color. Compare all the colors that you get on a working canvas of paper.
Step 3
Mix similar colors such as green and yellow, red and orange, blue and purple. By adding a hue, the color will become very rich and catchy.
Step 4
Some colors can be brightened with warm shades by adding orange or yellow paint to the paints on the palette. For example, pink will become much more intense and interesting if you add a little orange paint to it.
Step 5
To set off the resulting color and draw attention to it, surround it with lines and details in muted contrasting tones, for example, a red flower will look much more attractive among green grass than against a background of brown wallpaper.
Step 6
To brighten a cool color, surround it with muted warm tones. For example, to highlight a pure blue color, add orange paints next to it. Adjust the amount of blue and orange for maximum contrast and brightness.
Step 7
Emphasize the saturation of colors with black details, black gives the picture depth and complexity. Use black very carefully. If a brown or blue tint is visible in it, use such paint very carefully. To darken the color, add black to the palette with the very tip of a thin brush.
Step 8
In painting, white is also widely used to achieve our goal, apply it as a primer under the drawing, thus making the base for rich and saturated shades. Add white to other paints if you need pastel colors (pale pink, light green, pale blue).
