A briefcase is a narrow rectangular bag designed to carry folders, books and various documents. It has several compartments where, in addition to paper, you can put pens, glasses, a telephone and many other items important for business life. In addition, the portfolio is a symbol of the student.

Instructions
Step 1
Draw a randomly sized rectangle in the middle of the sheet. It is desirable that it is not very small - then it will be inconvenient to draw details.
Step 2
Round the upper corners of the rectangle slightly and draw a line downward from them, parallel to the wall of the briefcase and going beyond it by 0.5 cm. The lines should go down one third of the rectangle and be the same length.
Step 3
Connect the ends of these lines together with a line slightly curved towards the center of the portfolio. Thus, a portfolio cover was obtained.
Step 4
Draw a latch. Draw a small square in the middle of the curved line. It should be located both on the briefcase lid and on its front wall. Draw a horizontal line in the middle of the square.
Step 5
Draw a belt. In the middle of the lid, draw two parallel lines from the top of the rectangle towards the lock. The distance between these lines should match the width of the latch.
Step 6
Draw a pen to the briefcase. In the middle of the upper part, draw two small squares - these will be the bases of the handle. They should be at the same distance from the briefcase strap. Then connect them together with two parallel arc-shaped lines. The sketch of the drawing is ready, now it remains to decorate and draw the details.
Step 7
Choose a color for your portfolio. Depending on your desire and imagination, it can be made of burgundy, black or gray leather. You could, for example, paint the briefcase light brown and the latch and base of the handle gray.
Step 8
To keep the lid and strap from blending into the briefcase, outline them in dark brown. Then do the topstitching by drawing the same colored dotted lines along the edges of the briefcase, lid and belt.
Step 9
Separate the lower corners of the bag with a darker shade - these will be metal bases designed to protect the bottom of the portfolio from rapid wear.
