The Snow Maiden is one of the main New Year's characters. Since this is a winter visitor, her clothes correspond to the cold season: an elegant fur coat, mittens and a fur hat. An equally popular headdress is a figured kokoshnik studded with gems. The appearance of the Snow Maiden fully embodies the image of a Russian beauty: a slender figure, a round face, a slight blush, a light braid to the waist. When depicting this character, a gamut of cold colors is used: blue, blue, lilac tones.

Step 1
On a vertically positioned sheet of paper with light lines, without pressing on a pencil, outline the main parts of the Snow Maiden's figure: the head, a long braid thrown over her shoulder, the lines of the arms and the hem of a long fur coat. The proportions of the figure can be both normal for a female figure, and close to children - with a larger head and shorter limbs. The latter option is more typical for comic or animated images.
Step 2
Better draw the sleeves - mark their volume. Also add thickness to the braided hair. Add details of clothing: a fluffy fur collar, cuffs on the sleeves of the inner garment, which is wearing a fur coat. The Snow Maiden has a boyar fur coat, so depict long sleeves flared from top to bottom, hanging freely below the level of the hands.
Step 3
Continue adding details to the drawing. Draw the face of the Snow Maiden: clear eyebrows, big eyes, thin nose, small mouth. Draw curls of hair on the forehead and temples. Try to give your face sophistication and an elusive "sadness" - after all, according to legend, the age of the Snow Maiden is short-lived.
Step 4
Also draw hands in graceful mittens and legs, shod in boots (from under the long fur coat, only the triangular toes of the shoe are visible). Complement the fur coat with details typical of the "boyar" cut: two floors rounded at the bottom, passing up to the sides, wrapped in the front on the chest, and the edges of the clothes are trimmed with fur.
Step 5
To create a more fabulous image, draw a beautiful kokoshnik on the Snow Maiden's head, the edges of which are in the form of star rays. To make it easier to do this, first draw a semicircle around the girl's head, and then break it into several segments. After that, “crown” each of the obtained parts with a prong on top.
Step 6
Color the Snow Maiden using cold tones and motifs of frosty patterns or the starry sky. Decorate your fur coat with these motives - make it look like a brocade coat, add extra shine with the help of special paints with sparkles. Make the girl's face pale, but with a slight pink blush. Color the eyes blue and the braid golden yellow.
