Every kid loves to sculpt unpretentious figures from plasticine - this is not only interesting, but also useful. The development of fine motor skills at a very young age is necessary, since it is responsible for the harmonious development of the child. Thrifty parents will be happy to learn how to make clay at home.
It is necessary
- - 2 cups of flour;
- - 1 glass of salt;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tartar;
- - 1 glass of heated water;
- - dyes;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a bowl and combine the flour, salt, and tartar (available at a large spice store) in a bowl.
Step 2
Add a small amount of water to the mixture. Pour a little at a time until the mixture starts to stick to the spoon.
Step 3
Add water until you reach the desired consistency. The mass should resemble dough.
Step 4
When the mixture becomes tough, add vegetable oil and stir thoroughly. If the mass turns out to be watery, then add flour. If, on the contrary, it is too hard, then it is allowed to add a little water.
Step 5
At this stage, dyes are added. Divide the mass into several parts and add dye to each. Next, you need to knead the future plasticine with your hands.
Step 6
After that, you need to cool the mixture - send it to the refrigerator for an hour or two. After that, check the plasticine - it should be elastic, but the figures should be obtained from it. If you want to do the modeling later, then the plasticine is removed in a plastic bag.
Step 7
Finished figurines can be immortalized by microwave baking. Sculptures are laid out on a tray and roasted on high power for 20-25 minutes. If during this time the plasticine does not seize, then you can send the figures for another 5-10 minutes in the microwave.
