The ability of artists and graphic artists to realistically convey real objects and objects on paper amazes people who cannot draw or are just learning this difficult skill. If you started to master the painting technique, then you probably already realized that small details are very important for the final perception of the drawing and for its reliability - for example, such a detail is water droplets, which give the drawing transparency, volume, airiness and the appropriate atmosphere.
It is necessary
Watercolor, acrylic paints, brushes
Instructions
Step 1
Drawing drops of water is easy - first sketch out the rounded outlines of two or three drops with a pencil. Drops are manifestations of nature, you look at them from different angles and therefore they are never perfectly round. Draw drops of different shapes - round, oval, elongated.
Step 2
Use a different background color for each drop: you can use pink, green and blue to emphasize the airiness and lightness of the drawing. Paint over the background along with the outline of the drop with diluted watercolors of the selected shades.
Step 3
Using the same colors, paint a small shadow under each drop. First apply some dark paint in a crescent shape, and then add light paint to show the transition from the shaded area to the light. Also mark the shadows inside the drops - they should be located on the opposite side of the previous shadows.
Step 4
Make the color transitions as smooth as possible. Give the shadows inside the droplets a bluish or turquoise hue to emphasize that your droplets are water.
Step 5
Highlight the lower contours of the drops in brown, working on contrasting elements and to achieve volume, paint glare on the surface of each drop using white watercolor and white acrylic paint.
Step 6
Lightly lighten the bottom of the drop with white paint. Add even more contrast with white acrylic paint along the bottom outline of the drop and along the edge of the flare.
