Clothes with rhinestones come into fashion at regular intervals and are just as often accused of "gypsy". However, manufacturers are relentlessly releasing new collections of shiny decorative material. There is even a special profession - a crystalizer. These people are engaged in decorating outfits with rhinestones. But in order to revive a dress, blouse, bag or jeans, it is not necessary to turn to specialists. You can decorate your clothes with rhinestones yourself.
It is necessary
- - cotton swabs;
- - tweezers;
- - thermal film for rhinestones;
- - iron;
- - the main tool of the crystalizer;
- - rhinestones.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the finished picture that you want to lay out from rhinestones on the fabric. You can draw a sketch for decorating textiles with rhinestones yourself. Print out the contours of the picture or draw in a mirror image. This is due to the peculiarity of the subsequent imposition of rhinestones.
Step 2
To decorate clothes with rhinestones, attach a sketch picture to the table using adhesive tape, put a hot glue film on top, gluing it to the table with tape. The backing must be removed from the film. Save it if you are not going to glue the rhinestone applique on your clothes immediately after making it.
Step 3
Further, to decorate textiles with rhinestones, take a cotton swab, moisten it in water and pick up individual crystals by their "bottom". You can also use tweezers or the main crystalizer tool for this operation. Grabbing the rhinestone, put it on the drawing where you want. It should be glued upside down.
Step 4
Having laid all the crystals, proceed directly to decorating the fabric with rhinestones. To do this, attach the applique blank to the place where it should be located. The rhinestones should touch the fabric with the glue bottom, and be covered with thermal film on top.
Step 5
Take an iron and set the temperature mode "For cotton". Iron the applique over the thermal foil, pressing each section for 5 to 30 seconds.
Step 6
Remove the thermal film. All rhinestones should remain in place. If some individual crystals do not stick, put the thermal film back in place and repeat the manipulations with the iron.
Step 7
After the glue has "taken", and the thermal film has been removed without the rhinestones, go over the entire applique with an iron in steam mode, lightly touching the crystals.
