Rhinestones are transparent artificial stones that look like real jewelry. Most often these are pebbles made of plastic or glass. They are produced in different sizes, shapes and colors. Their name (Strass) came to us from the German language, from the surname of the inventor, jeweler and glassmaker of the late 18th century G. Strass.
It is necessary
You will need: rhinestones, a syringe-dispenser for applying glue, a wax stick or tweezers, which will help to grab the crystal and carefully position it on the surface, a flat container, a pattern template (in a mirror image), scotch tape
Instructions
Step 1
The desire to complement your image with interesting bright details is inherent in every woman. That is why rhinestones are very popular. Rhinestones are used in jewelry, for decorating clothes and even phones. With their help, they create three-dimensional drawings and patterns. But products decorated with rhinestones are expensive. But you can also make the decor yourself with rhinestones.
Step 2
Operating procedure.
Print a picture with a picture in a mirror image. Use tape to attach it to the table so that it does not slip when working. Take the thermal film and remove the textured white backing from it and place it on the drawing with the adhesive side up, also secure it with tape.
Step 3
Place the rhinestones in a lid or other small container. Lay out all colors separately.
Using tweezers, place the rhinestones over the pattern (you have it covered with adhesive film) upside down. Place a separate rhinestone on each circle until you have completed the entire applique.
Step 4
In the process of work, you will not be able to see all the beauty of the drawing, since the crystals will lie upside down. Work carefully so as not to misalign the drawing.
Step 5
When the entire pattern is laid out, lay the textured white backing over the pattern and press it against the rhinestones. This way, you will fix them more firmly on the transparent adhesive tape.
Step 6
Turn the drawing over. Using a dispenser, apply glue to the bottom of the rhinestone. Place the patterned film gently on the surface. When the glue is completely dry, remove the film.
Step 7
For work, you can use glue for glass and ceramics. Some masters cover the finished drawing with transparent nail polish. It adds extra shine and adheres the rhinestones even more firmly to the surface to be decorated.
